The Park das Nações (Park of Nations) district, the youngest of Lisbon, was built in 1998 for the World Fair Expo. This is a modern, elitist area on the banks of the River Tejo with many new developments, easy access to public transportation, wide streets and open green spaces. The Oriente railway station, combined with the subway entrance, is a remarkable architectural structure with stunning light lines. Nearby are the famous Aquarium and Shopping Center Vasco da Gama. A wide range of bars and restaurants with a view of th longest bridge in Europe spread along the coast.
